  • Replace your pool pump with a more energy-efficient model
  • Reduce pump speed to use energy use
  • Circulate water through filter only once a day
  • Run the pool filtration system at off-peak hours such as during the night
  • Keep intake grates clean as clogged drains require the pump to work harder
  • Clean your filter regularly
